The U.S. Government has released millions of dollars in Housing Grants. They also relaxed the credit requirements to make it easier for people with low credit ratings to get low interest home loans.

Billions of dollars were made available to buy homes, rental property, business property, apartments, and many other projects. The government and banks want to revitalize the economy by making loans easier to get for people who were previously rejected for poor credit.

Housing Grants can be used:

Councilman proposes moving City Hall to current home of Troy eateries

TROY City Councilman Bill Dunne, D-District 4, has proposed that the city explore a building at 33 Second Street, owned by developer Sandy Horowitz and the current home of Daisy Bakers and Bacchus, as a possible future home for City Hall. Horowitz announced earlier this week that he is looking to sell the building for $2.2 million.
